The date, location, and draft agenda for the WP meeting in May/June 2010 need to be decided. Additional
participants should be identified. Initial thoughts on the agenda should be collected.

Request from GEO UIC for input/three-page paper
Hans-Peter Plag
reported that he had received a request from the GEO UIC for a CZCP contribution to
a book on CoPs for the Ministerial Summit. The request was for a three page manuscript. In addition,
a three-pager from a GEO Task highlighting the role of the CoP was asked for.
Douglas Cripe
commented that it
was not fully clear what publication would be produced for the Ministerial Summit.

Puerto Rico Workshop: Status and next steps
Michael Bruno
mentioned that the Hilton could be a potential venue for the Puerto Rico Workshop.
It was emphasized that a date need to be decided soon. On February
13-18, 2011, other meetings were taking place in Puerto Rico, and a too close date should
be av oided. It was agreed that

would connect on Friday, May 7, and
decide on a date.

Cairo Workshop: Status and next steps
Hans-Peter Plag
reported that he had not been able to follow up the respective action items and
no progress had been made concerning the Cario Workshop.

pointed out that obviously IOC was organizing a meeting focusing on coastal zones; see

. The core group members were not
aware of this activity. No specific action was decided.

CZCP Work Plan Meeting
After some discussion of the fact that it was almost impossible to find a new date for the Work Plan meeting
later in the year, it was decided to go back to the June 9, 2010 date. In order to get broader participation,
it was decided to organize the meeting in Washington.
