[18 March 2009] Accra Workshop announced: The Second Workshop in the Series of CZCP Workshops will take place in Accra, Ghana, August 2-7, 2009. This workshop is titled Strengthening Observing Systems Capacity for Managing and Mitigating the Impacts of Human Activities and Coastal Inundation in the African Region, and will be organized by the CZCP in partnership with GOOS, GTOS, UNESCO, IOC, the African Association for Remote Sensing of the Environment (AARSE), Guinea Current Large Marine Ecosystem (GCLME), Benguela Current Commission (BCC), and the Somali Current Large Marine Ecosystem (SCLME).
